The beauty industry has always been shaped by strong personalities, not just techniques or trends. Behind every meaningful transformation are professionals who think deeper, work harder, and take responsibility for shaping the future of their craft. Tetiana Kysliuk and Eleonora Bediukh belong to a rare category of leaders who move beyond service and education to redefine professional standards themselves.

Their journeys began on different continents and in different disciplines. One focused on the science of hair structure and advanced European eyelash lamination technologies. The other built her expertise on a strong foundation in cosmetology and a systematic approach to brow design. Each stage of their professional paths was marked by international championships, awards, and industry recognition. Yet their most defining chapter began in the United States, where both women faced the challenge of starting from zero, adapting to a new market, and proving their expertise in a highly competitive environment.

It was in the U.S. that the idea of TE’ORA Beauty was born.

“We do not create products for the sake of expanding a lineup. We create solutions that genuinely change a professional’s work and elevate the entire industry.”

~ Tetiana Kislyuk

It was in the U.S. that the idea of TE’ORA Beauty was born. The brand is rooted in European quality standards, proprietary formulations, and a clear professional philosophy. Today, TE’ORA Beauty is far more than a product line. It is a development platform, an educational ecosystem, and a professional community designed to support artists and elevate the beauty industry both in the United States and internationally.

Tetiana, how did your journey in the beauty industry begin, and what moment became decisive in choosing this profession?

My journey started with simple curiosity, but with every new training and interaction with other professionals, I gradually realized that beauty is far more than just working with clients. It is an industry with enormous potential for growth, development, and building your own business. Understanding these possibilities became the decisive moment for me.

Beyond technical skills, discipline, continuous education, attention to detail, and the ability to truly listen to the client played a crucial role

Eleonora, which knowledge and skills from the beginning of your career became the foundation for your professional growth?

At the start of my career, the key foundation was a solid understanding of facial anatomy, individual hair growth patterns, and professional work with shape. I realized early on that perfect brows are not about templates. They are about seeing harmony and highlighting a person’s natural beauty.

Beyond technical skills, discipline, continuous education, attention to detail, and the ability to truly listen to the client played a crucial role. These qualities allowed me to build real expertise and later transition into developing my own beauty business, where mastery, service, and strategic thinking must work together.

Today, TE’ORA Beauty is far more than a product line

“When you realize that you can influence not only the result of a procedure, but the future of the profession itself, a completely different level of responsibility emerges.”

~ Tetiana Kislyuk

Tetiana, how did moving to the United States affect your career, and what challenges did you face starting from zero?

The move was a complete reset. A new country, a different language, and an entirely new beginning. It was not easy and felt like starting life over. The hardest part was not the fear of having no clients, but navigating documentation, licensing, and regulations I had never dealt with before. To open a studio, you need at least three licenses, and that process was the most intimidating. In the end, these challenges became a powerful driving force and proved that moving forward is essential, no matter what.

Eleonora, you entered the competitive championship world early. How did participation and victories influence your career and confidence as an expert?

Competitions became a serious accelerator for my growth. The first championships gave me something that client work alone cannot provide. Extreme attention to detail and an understanding of the highest professional standards, where results must be flawless not only for yourself, but also for judges.

Each victory strengthened my confidence, but the process itself was even more important. Preparation, analyzing mistakes, and a constant pursuit of perfection. Championships taught me to go beyond familiar boundaries and grow regardless of titles or placements. This experience played a key role in shaping me as an expert and later helped me confidently develop my own beauty business while offering clients a level that meets global standards.

Tetiana, what were the biggest challenges after relocating, and what helped turn a difficult period into a point of growth?

Our relocation was completely unexpected, and the first major challenge was the total absence of starting opportunities. However, discipline, love for my work, and the willingness to learn and work harder than others played a decisive role. These qualities helped transform a difficult period into a solid foundation for future growth.

Eleonora, how did you meet Tetiana, and when did you realize you were ready to create a joint project?

We met in Sacramento during training. From the very beginning, we were united by a shared drive for growth, development, and improving the quality of our work. I was genuinely impressed by Tetiana’s work ethic and determination. We quickly connected, began supporting each other, and sharing experience and knowledge.

The idea of a joint project came fairly quickly. We clearly saw what was missing in the US beauty industry and understood that together we could meet those needs. The human factor also played a major role. We felt that we complemented each other perfectly and could become a strong team. Instead of competition, we consciously chose collaboration, and that decision became the foundation of our shared business.

Tetiana, when did you first see the potential to transform an online store into the full scale TE’ORA Beauty brand?

“Championships do not teach you how to win. They teach you how to meet high standards regardless of placement or title.”

~ Eleonora Bediukh

Tetiana, when did you first see the potential to transform an online store into the full scale TE’ORA Beauty brand?

Initially, our store focused on Ukrainian brands, but constant logistics challenges became the first signal to create our own product. At a certain point, it became clear that professionals needed high quality, accessible materials that would always be available. That is how the idea emerged to transform the store into a full scale brand that could compete with leading manufacturers. We realized we could create something greater than a marketplace, a brand with a mission and an expert driven philosophy.

Eleonora, how do your knowledge of chemistry, hair structure, and ingredients help create improved professional formulas?

Deep knowledge of chemistry and hair structure is the foundation of our product philosophy. Understanding how hair reacts to alkalines, acids, pigments, and active components allows us to create formulas that work effectively while remaining safe for both skin and hair.

I can predict ingredient interactions and understand which combinations deliver durability and flexibility, and which weaken a formula. This allows us to create not just a product, but a technological solution adapted to different hair types and professional techniques. Each formula undergoes strict analysis and extensive testing so professionals can fully trust the result.

Tetiana, how does TE’ORA Beauty differ from similar products on the US market, and which professional needs does it address?

“A strong team begins where competition ends and a shared vision takes its place.”

~ Eleonora Bediukh

Tetiana, how does TE’ORA Beauty differ from similar products on the US market, and which professional needs does it address?

TE’ORA Beauty combines quality, practicality, and thoughtful design. We create products that address real professional needs, ease of use, consistent results, and safety. At the same time, we do more than sell materials. We support professionals through education. Each product includes detailed video tutorials and methodological materials. This approach makes us not just a supplier, but a true partner in professional growth.

Eleonora, which brand products have become flagships, and why are they in such high demand?

Today, the flagship product of TE’ORA Beauty is our cream based lash lamination adhesive. Its uniqueness lies in its creamy texture, which ensures even distribution, control, and cleanliness during application. Unlike gel based alternatives, it allows professionals to shape lash direction faster and achieve more predictable results. This product became highly in demand because it genuinely simplifies the work process and elevates the quality of the service. I am confident this is only the beginning, with several strong new launches ahead.

Tetiana, what advice would you give to professionals who dream of owning their own business but are afraid to take the first step?

It is important to understand that beauty is a full scale business that requires strategy, structure, and responsibility. A common mistake is expecting fast results after just one course. Like any other field, it requires planning, calculations, and constant development. Do not be afraid to start, but approach it as a serious, lifelong profession.
