The lights dimmed, the red carpet shimmered under the soft glow of chandeliers, and for one suspended moment The Center at Twenty Three Hundred felt like the beating heart of California itself. Cameras flashed, velvet gowns swept across the polished floor, and the audience leaned forward with that unmistakable collective breath – anticipation.

This was the night when the Miss California International Grand Finale, presented as the signature highlight of the Best Business Awards Ceremony & Gala 2025, transformed the evening into a living, breathing story of talent, purpose, and breathtaking unity.

The evening itself carried a magnetic energy. Hosts Eunice Cintron, Miss California International 2025, and RJ Yavorsky, CEO of Legacy Build Construction, guided the audience through the night with elegance, humor, and confident warmth. Their presence created a thread, a steady rhythm tying together entertainment, celebration, and the moment everyone was waiting for.

400 invited guests representing business, government, education, the arts, and nonprofit leadership filled the banquet hall, turning the gala into a cultural mosaic as vibrant as California itself. The synergy of business excellence and a multicultural beauty and leadership competition created something Capital of California had never quite seen before: a union of ambition, artistry, and shared purpose.

Miss California International beauty contest began long before the doors opened and the first heels touched the red carpet. From more than one hundred applications, the casting jury selected just ten remarkable finalists, each stepping into a seven-week journey that few could witness but everyone felt in the final result. They trained in oratory, refined their stage presence, studied choreography, shaped personal branding, and strengthened leadership skills through the extensive program organized by Council for Cross Cultural Affairs (CCCA). Under the creative guidance of choreographer Michelle Silver, they not only learned to move, they learned to claim space, to express emotion through grace, and to trust their own voice. What unfolded onstage was not performance. It was transformation.

One of the defining elements of the Miss California International program was the exclusive Masterclass led by Victor Migalchan, Emmy Awards Judge, film director, and showrunner. This elite training experience, offered to finalists, elevated the competition far beyond standard pageant preparation. In an intensive workshop setting, contestants learned event strategy, sharpened their stage speech and diction, mastered high-pressure Q&A techniques, and developed the confidence and charisma essential for commanding the stage. For many, this Masterclass became a turning point, a tradition that has shaped rising leaders and transformed talented ladies into powerful, poised contenders ready for the Grand Finale spotlight.

The entertainment program elevated the atmosphere into something cinematic. Velvet Summer Band brought rhythmic electricity to the room, while illusionists Andy Amix and Georgia held the audience in suspended disbelief.

NCDC Contemporary Ballet delivered a performance that felt like a collective exhale fluid, striking, emotional. The powerful vocals of Pavel Baransky, Roman July, Gennadiy Verbitskiy, and Elany Moscalu swept across the hall with the force of a live soundtrack.

The red-carpet photography flashes created a constellation of light as evening gowns by Magnolia Quinceanera swept through the venue, infusing the atmosphere with elegance and cinematic charm. Onstage, the breathtaking wedding gowns by Cali-Bride drifted like moving poems delicate, romantic, and ethereal, transforming each moment into a living work of art.

The evening opened with an exquisite VIP reception and private networking experience, where guests enjoyed a photo opportunity with the organizers, sponsors, and the ten radiant finalists of the beauty contest.

Award-winning Caravan Uzbek Cuisine elevated the welcome hour with exquisite hors d’oeuvres, while EDEN Coffee Cart delighted guests with premium handcrafted brews.

Story Winery, one of Amador’s most celebrated vineyards, offered refined wine tastings that added depth and sophistication to the ambiance.

As the gala transitioned into its formal program, a sumptuous seven-course dinner catered by Hannibal’s Catering was served, a culinary journey blending artistry and flavor, completing an evening defined by beauty, culture, and unforgettable indulgence.

Behind the scenes, the team at Devas Beauty Lab under the expert supervision of founder and CEO Evgenya Vitcova – shaped the polished, camera-ready looks that defined the elegance of the evening. With precise artistry, flawless technique, and a deep appreciation for each contestant’s individual beauty, the stylists crafted looks that highlighted confidence, sophistication, and authenticity. Their work went far beyond makeup and hair; it set the emotional tone for the finalists, giving them the poise to walk onstage with assurance and grace. From early-morning preparations to the final touch-ups moments before the spotlight hit, Devas Beauty Lab played an essential role in creating the unmistakable, refined glow that became the signature of Miss California International 2026.

Behind the elegance stood two visionaries whose work made the night possible: producer Sergey Ivannikov, founder and CEO of Russian American Media, and event organizer Alisa Yurchenko, President and CEO of the Council for Cross Cultural Affairs. Together they shaped the identity of Miss California International as a platform with an unmistakable mission.
Sergey shared a message that resonated deeply throughout the ballroom: “Participation in the competition was entirely free. We removed financial barriers so that contestants especially those from immigrant and underserved families could gain leadership training and personal development programs. Our mission is to cultivate future leaders and give every participant a chance to find her voice.”
In that moment, it became clear why this competition stands apart from traditional beauty pageants. Miss California International is not only about appearance, it is about opportunity, equality, and the powerful impact of representation. Many alumnae return as mentors, speakers, or creative contributors, proving that the program extends far beyond the stage.
