From luxurious kitchen transformations to expansive outdoor living spaces, All Type Remodeling, Inc.

Sergey, tell us about the beginnings of All Type Remodeling, Inc. What inspired you to start your own construction business?

I’ve been in the construction industry for decades, working on everything from small home repairs to large-scale commercial projects. Over the years, I noticed that many clients were frustrated by inconsistent quality, missed deadlines, or lack of communication. I wanted to create a company that was different—a company built on trust, craftsmanship, and transparency. That’s how All Type Remodeling, Inc. was born. My goal was simple: deliver top-quality work and make the renovation process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Your company name says “All Type.” Does that mean you really handle all aspects of remodeling?

Absolutely. Our clients love that we’re a one-stop solution. We do it all—kitchen and bathroom renovations, electrical and plumbing work, custom cabinetry, tile installation, painting, drywall, decks, patios, windows, and doors. Whether it’s a single-room update or a full-scale remodel, we manage the entire process from concept to completion.

Kitchen and bathroom remodels are often considered the most challenging projects. What’s your approach to making them successful?

It all starts with listening. Every homeowner has a vision, and my job is to understand it fully before we pick up a single tool. From there, we guide clients through materials, layout, and budget considerations. Kitchens and bathrooms are high-use areas, so we design them to be both beautiful and functional. And because these projects can disrupt daily life, we work efficiently to minimize downtime without compromising quality.

Outdoor living has become very popular in recent years. How is All Type Remodeling meeting that demand?

In Northern California, we’re lucky to have great weather most of the year. People want to enjoy their backyards just as much as their interiors. We create everything from simple decks to elaborate patios with pergolas, fire pits, and even outdoor kitchens. These spaces not only enhance lifestyle but also add significant property value.

What do you think sets your company apart from other contractors in the region?

Three things: craftsmanship, reliability, and personal involvement. I’m hands-on with every project—I meet with clients personally, oversee my team’s work, and make sure every detail is right. We also maintain open communication throughout the process. And we stand by our work long after the project is complete.

Many people are nervous about starting a remodeling project. What advice would you give them?

Don’t rush the planning stage. Take the time to define your priorities and budget, and choose a contractor you feel comfortable with. Ask for references, look at past work, and make sure the contractor is licensed and insured. A good remodeling experience is built on trust, so that relationship matters.

You’ve worked on both residential and commercial projects. How do they differ in approach?

With residential projects, you’re creating spaces that are deeply personal—places where families live their daily lives. Commercial projects focus more on function, efficiency, and brand image. Both require precision, but the emotional investment in a home renovation is often greater, so we place special emphasis on communication and client comfort.

What’s your process from the first call to project completion?

It’s straightforward and client-focused. First, we offer a free phone estimate—no obligation, no pressure. This allows us to understand the client’s needs and provide a realistic starting point. Once we move forward, we finalize the design and scope, handle all permits if needed, and then execute the work with attention to detail. Throughout the project, we keep clients informed so there are no surprises.

What’s next for All Type Remodeling, Inc.?

We’re continuing to expand our services while keeping our quality standards high. I’m also investing in training for my team so we stay ahead of new materials, techniques, and design trends. Ultimately, our mission is the same as when I started: help clients bring their vision to life, no matter the size or complexity of the project.

And finally—what’s the best compliment you’ve ever received from a client?

One client told me, “You didn’t just remodel my kitchen—you gave me the home I always dreamed of.” That meant the world to me. At the end of the day, it’s not just about construction—it’s about creating spaces where people can truly enjoy life.
